Post by Big Phil on Thu 12 Nov 2009, 3:56 pm

Thought I would start a thread to discuss the NBL and in particular the Adelaide 36'ers...

Man it's not like the old days. We had season tickets from 1991-2003 and then it all just died in a heap. And having more regional teams than capital city teams doesn't make sense to me. But I hope it comes back strong and we see teams re-established in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Hobart.

Yeah, the NBL will never reached it's halcian days, I used to have season tickets and go religously as well but now I would have maybe been to a dozen games in the last 5 or 6 years...

Certainly looking forward ot catching the return game of Julius Hodge to the Dome though...

Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if the Crows had of taken over the 36'ers and marketed the club to their existing members. Didnt seem a bad idea when it was first put forward but they never acted on it suggesting that their may have been to many obstacles to have overcome!
