2nd Test V Pakistan

Post by Testy on Sat 02 Jan 2010, 10:09 am

Does anyone know why the second test against the Pakis is to begin tomorrow (Sunday) and not today (Saturday). There must be a reason but I thought it would have been better to start today so that they play on both days of the weekend.

Further to the above I'm sure the Sydney test has allways begun on the day after new years day.

Well done to Rick Ponting and his team for showing us how to get out of gaol.
It was a terrific win over the pakistan team which puts them 2-0 up and the series win with the Hobart test to go.

Was a thrilling finish that had me glued to my lounge. (On leave this week!)

Reckon the pressure got to a few of the tail end Pakis.
The Aussies are like tigers with a sniff of blood in that position.

Just would not have imagines a victory was possible after being 8-for and only 80 runs ahead after day 3.

I BELIEVE IT IS TO DO WITH THE CROWD.

I THINK IT WAS ORIGINALLY ON THE 1ST OF JAN, BUT TOO MANY YOBBO'S WERE STILL PISSED FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE AND KEPT RUNNING ON THE FEILD AND FIGHTING IN THE STANDS.

SO THEY CHANGED IT TO THE 2ND.

NOT A GREAT DEAL OF IMPROVEMENT RE THE CROWD.

SO THEY CHANGED IT TO THE 3RD.
