Liverpool V Arsenal

Post by the sarge on Thu 12 Aug 2010, 1:37 am

the mersey reds hosting the gunners.....in what should be a cracking match at anfield......with torres, gerrard and caragher staying and the inclusion of cole and jovanavic and arsenal not making too many changes questions have been asked about the gunners defence as the won a pre season match the other day 6-5 against a mid table german side.....my thoughts liverpool too strong here 4-1 to the mersey reds.....
your thoughts

Not a clue but that result would be very nice.

What's with the new sponsor?

If a firm of accountants can displace a major brewer, then they charge too much!

Watched the Reds get smacked by Man C by 3 goals the other night.
Apparently something they haven't done in decades.

Not a good start.

It's becoming a bit of a Liverpool tradition, isn't it, these slow starts. It's almost hard to believe that they haven't won the league since the old Div 1, where they were a powerhouse. A coaching merry-go-round hasn't helped and the previous decade of foreign influence has bore nothing except a few European trophies. And while they spend 100million on one player, it leaves them almost no room to buy others and personally I haven't been impressed or intimidated by their recent squads. But you know what Liverpool fans are really craving...to be champions of England once again.
