I would think it would be almost the same game as the 2nd Semi a fortnight ago. Central will know just when to switch on and step up to the next level. Dogs by 3-4 goals.

I agree that the other 3 are better than McKenzie but I wouldn't say that leadinng into a Grand Final , thats amazing. Problem is for Norwood McKenzie is still better than their ruckman . You need to jump over McKenzie not allow him to get caught in body against body.

IIRC the Grand Final parade has been on the Saturday for some time now hasn't it and players presented to the crowd in Rundle mall?
Then again I have been known to be wrong on plenty of occasions.

maybe the three mentioned are more athletic but as far as football smarts I don't think you could say they are any better than buckets. what surprises me is bassett opening his mouth, he should know better. over the last few years we have had grima saying too old to slow. coming from the absolute finals loser he is he obviously didn't think the dogs would use that as ammo. A few years back jarman stated the dogs better look over their shoulder as the roosters were coming over the hill. just made the boys play harder. and now bassett saying with due respect to buckets the other three are better? he would have been better off keeping his mouth shut because I would place a wager that the players will be telling buckets to prove him wrong and hopefully if the dogs win buckets can copy those famous words of mark williams and say, NATHAN BASSETT YOU WERE WRONG.Sturt2 wrote:I agree that the other 3 are better than McKenzie but I wouldn't say that leadinng into a Grand Final , thats amazing. If you are going on footy smarts then he is the best ruckman in the comp as I think he understands his limitations and usually plays very clever.

Some people just never know when to shut there f@#%en mouths, and coming from the opposition coach prior to the biggest game of the season makes it even more ridiculous.
Surely the last thing you want to do before a grand final is be level headed and give no amunition to the team you are about to play.

If you read the whole article in context his comments are fine however Laird will look for every little bit of ammo to gain an edge and will use it.
