Loveday 4x4 Adventures

Post by Chambo Off To Work We Go on Tue 05 Oct 2010, 11:04 pm

Went bush on long weekend once again.
Put the forby through its paces at Loveday 4x4 Adventure Park.
But the place has very nice camp sites along the river that give you exclusive frontage, even if the 4wd tracks aren't your thing.

Some very serious people with some very serious machinery go to play up there.
How would you like to pay $800 for one tyre!

There is a offroad show on in a fortnight at Wayville and you can go look at the monster trucks strut their stuff.

Westies heartland my man!

This is an out of the way section of river that, if you are into the Mighty Murray is one of the best and secluded parts.

IE Few water skiers to pee you off.

and Loveday was famous for being a WWII internment camp for German people.

How shitefully hot would it have been in those galvanised iron cylindrical Nissen Huts!

And without making light of the subject, the people at Woodside (Inverbrackie) Barracks think its tough!
