Re: Kevin Muscat...Melbourne Victory
I don't follow soccer at all, but even I have heard about this guys on-field antics being totally off the planet.
Correct me if I'm wrong (as I said I dont follow the sport) but didn't Muscat put on another crude tackle earlier this season against Adelaide? IIRC it resulted in the key Adelaide player missing heaps of matches when he required knee surgery?
From what I heard on radio this morning, the suspension is only for A League matches, so Muscat is still allowed to play in the Asian Cup matches.
I reckon if they're serious he shouldn't be allowed to represent Melbourne (as is identified as an Australian team, so an ambassador for our country).
What if he continues on with this unacceptable and unsportsmanlike behaviour on the larger arena?
What will our Soccer Authorities say to explain allowing him to play, knowing of his inability to restrain his white line fever, if he causes a major injury to another country's key player?

Re: Kevin Muscat...Melbourne Victory
That player who was taken out was Matthew Leckie but it wasn't Muskat...it was another Victory henchman..
and no yellow/red card.

Re: Kevin Muscat...Melbourne Victory
I bite my tongue other than to say that any soccer player in the world plays knowing that something like a crude tackle or facing a player like Muscat could happen or does happens. What are they going to tell their club?? I don't feel like playing?? Don't come Monday then. If you don't want to get hurt, go play chess or something. Give it up already and move on. IT"S OVER!! And he'll probably play another season too.
