For those interested the NRL was live on Friday night on channel 9's HD channel Gem.
This was up against channel 7's live telecast of the Hawks v Magpies. I think it is live for the season, and while I will allways watch the footy, if the game is crap I will turn to the rugby.
Can't help but wonder why 9 didn't do this in the past--live rugby against a delayed replay. scratch
