Fraser
Fraser
No not George, not Gehrig or anybody else in sport.
Talking about Eliza, as in Eliza Fraser - not the person, the island named after her.
We (as in 6 families) are going there after Christmas to do some 4wding, drinking, sunbanking, drinking, not getting eaten by dingos, drinking, fishing and general mucking about.
We're away for 3 weeks. Staying at a place called Evans Head after Fraser, then on to Stephens Bay before home.
If you've never been to Fraser Island, you gotta put it on your bucket list.
Absolutely amazing place. You don't have to be a Geographer to appreciate the changing topography.
Simply awesome!
There is some temptation to stay and never return.
But when I snap out of the stupor - I'll come back to reality and think about that.
Got a few more mods planned for the fourby.
New roof basket, performance chip that should give me a few more KW, Nm and fuel economy.
It's a bit sad when you go to the 4wd and camping shows and there isn't much left to buy.
Mateys, I gotta say if you haven't been bitten by the outdoor camping and 4wd bug, you're missing out.
...Get amongst it and I might see you on the trail one day.
