Oval Disgrace

50 years since the socceroos played at Adelaide oval and with reports in the press it will probably be another 50 years before they return.

On top of people getting drenched sitting in there $85 seats in the NEW western grandstand, players had to endure playing on a surface, once wet, (cricket pitch) was worse than a bog.

This is Adelaide, it rains in june, there is a cricket pitch in the middle which turns to sticky clay when it rains. Only going by these reports which say players were finding it hard to keep there feet and with the bog in the middle could not control the ball at all, what a great spectacle that must have been and I'm sure Adelaide will be the last place they will want to play in.

Should have played it at Hindmarsh with the temporary stands like they did for the 2000 Olympics.

Either that, or Adelaide will soon have drop in pitches.

Talking about disgraces...what about LUCAS NEILL the f**kwit??! He's cost us 2 bloody World Cups!!
