Features of the draw include:

.A men’s seeding round on the first day with teams being fed into pools and playing each other in a NAB Cup format (shortened games of 2 x 15 minute halves with a 10 minute half-time and 20 minute break between matches)
.The top two teams ranked in each pool according to their performance in the seeding round based on wins, losses and percentage will advance to Division 1. The bottom team in each pool will compete in Division 2
.There will be 12 places in Division 1 and 6 places in Division 2
.There will be one Women’s Division
.There will be prize-money on offer for the top three place-getters in Men’s Division 1, the Winner of Men’s Division 2 and the top two place-getters of the Women’s Division
.Sunday August 14 is a free day
.All teams will have the same number of days break across the tournament - nine in total - with Division 1 Grand Finalists, ten

.The Division 1 ranking after the seeding round will determine a team’s match sequence and as a result the number of rest days in between games will vary between teams
.There will be a curtain raiser played on Sunday August 21 at ANZ stadium and a Parade of Nations at half time. Team selection for this game will follow the Seeding Round on day one
