Chad may have signed with GWS.

Port Power want Kane Cornes gone and making it tough for him as he has a 2 year contract.

2 for the price of 1?
Sounds like a deal you get in Coles! Very Happy

I feel Port is screwing Port. But they did over pay for their aging players.

The Power will be in some pain for years to come. However, I believe that Primus is doing the right thing in blooding the kids and it will pay off in the long run. However, they need a full-time coaching staff to help him with his mission.

Sheeds has made it pretty clear that he will have the both of them at GWS and will likely get a pretty good deal on the contract to give them another run. I agree with his logic, if he chooses only 18yro lads they are going to get absolutley smashed week in and week out, if they put some experienced players in the mix it evens the side out and allows them to mentor the young blokes. Seems a pretty reasonable suggestion!

When sides are new or have had a lot of experience disappear, I think you need to temper your youth policy with some pragmatism in recruiting experience. Even if it is approaching 30.

Young bucks getting pummelled won't develop them quickly or efficiently.

Sheeds would do worse than picking up the Cornes boys to fill an immediate if not long term void.

Yes, all sides need experience, I think the Gold Coast Suns have a good mix and were very competative in there very first season.

The suns were very unlucky to win their first spoon.
