Another Ex-Blue to Coach Crows

Post by Chambo Off To Work We Go on Mon 19 Sep 2011, 7:48 pm

Looks like Brenton Sanderson is to coach the Crows, making it 2 double blue players being appointed in a row.

Has served his apprenticeship at a successful club, so that should give Crows fans something to be optimistic about.

Reckon he has derserved his chance after missing out on a few gigs on offer these last few years.

Excellent hire by the crows and Brendan McCartney to the Dogs. That is two ex Geelong assistant coaches to current AFL clubs.

So do the pieces of the jigsaw fall into place with Scott Burns heading St Kilda way?

Maybe.

But one thing is sure, there are a lot of assistant positions on offer right now.

I know he captained Sturt but Neil Craig is a Norwood man to me. Could be just the fact I don't like him and don't want him as being associated with Sturt. Rolling Eyes

Really happy with Sanderson coaching Adelaide. Would have been with Burns too as he is my 2nd cousin but happy with Sando.

Think its a good decison for the AFC, he has plenty to do to turn things around at the AFC though and must be supported fully by the board of the club to do what needs to be done in terms of the list and the staff at the club.

Good luck to Sando. He has certainly been a very patient man!
