2011 WAFL Grand Final

Today Claremont shrugged off the Chokemont tag finally winning a flag after many attempts to break a 15 year drought, to beat a gallant $ubiaco by 56pts 19.13.127 to 10.11.71..Simpson Medal went to Beau Wilkes with his 4 first half goals pivotal in setting up the win. The crowd was the lowest in WAFL history post war at 15500 approx, but that was to be expected with the two poorest followed sides in the comp.
Well done Tigers! All i can say is roll on 2012!!!

Did not expect to see Subiaco lose that is for sure - pretty sure many of the punters thought it was in the bag as well! Well done, its always a good thing to see a drought broken!
