Tasmanian Footy

After doing a little research, I have found 2 teams to follow down here (1 in each league).

Naturally, my new hometown of Smithton and it's local club the Saints will find an extra supporter in the 6-team NWFL.

The TSL was a little harder. Geographically, the Burnie Dockers are the closest team but after some deliberation I couldn't go past the Northern Bombers of Launceston (who wear red & black of course!) They may even find an extra player sponsor in me for 2012! (But we'll see how things go.)

Unfortunately for fellow posters, Tasmanians don't care much for the internet, therefore don't keep their websites up-to-date, otherwise I'd gladly place the links to both websites here.

However, as my job is currently standing at only 2 days a week, I may find some time to do a write-up of Smithton and Northern Bombers footy. Could even do some scouting for your clubs... Again, not making any promises!
