Re: NAFC Season Launch 2012
Probably needs to concentrate more on Adelaide United?
Surely someone can come up with $50K.

Re: NAFC Season Launch 2012
Geez that's tough at this late stage
Is it a case of the marketing team just assuming Gerard Industries sonsorship was continuing, or a late notification?
Maybe they could auction off the unused new guernseys to get some $$ to buy the new ones
This, on top of reading how some Sturt FC sponsors didn't pay up, has me wondering what's happening out there in the business world that they think it's OK to do this to struggling SANFL clubs

Re: NAFC Season Launch 2012
For any club to lose there MAJOR sponsor so close to the start of a new season would be a huge concern, can't remember this happening before.

Re: NAFC Season Launch 2012
Something seems off to me.
At this stage of the season, Gerard is making a statement.
After all this is a 20 year relationship.
I am suspicious by nature, with a new board a sponsor can get upset with things that look inwardly seeking.
In the paper today the North President put up an expected front espousing the gratitude for 20 years support, but I don't buy it.
Gerard would know what this means at this stage of the season.
Something defiinitely afoot for mine.

Of course , the bloke wanted things his way or nothing. New board elected and not the ones he wanted and bingo...........no more money.
Spoilt brat by the sounds of it and he'll just fire back and say "look how I saved your club previously" .
