Re: Salisbury North????
They are a pretty succesful club at the moment mate...
They are playing in Division 1 of the SAAFL and are being coached by Jamie Thomas (father of Centrals player Paul)
They made the Grand Final in Div 1 last year but were defeated by the almighty Goodwood Saints who won their 4th Div 1 SAAFL flag in a row.

BK, I played against the Hawks from 64 till 81 from U14s to A grade. I played for Salisbury and Brahma Lodge and you always knew you were in for a tough game. Alan Stewart gave me my first shirt front...ouch.

Re: Salisbury North????
The good old CDFA. It had great teams like Salisbury, Salisbury North, Ingle Farm, Pooraka, Elizabeth. Pretty hard to win a game and stay healthy playing those teams week in week out.

I played against Colin and Daryl Window in the late 60's
and early 70's. I new Garry at Centrals but he was a league star and never played against him. You may know the Southgates and Greg Ritchie?

Re: Salisbury North????
I'm not sure about Doug BK. Greg Ritchie and I are not mates due to a head high elbow from him and a bit of retaliation from me the year after way back in the 70's. It was one of the reasons I retired from footy because of all the head high stuff in the CDFA back then.
