Re: Salisbury North????
Jamie Thomas, father of Central District captain Paul Thomas, will not be coaching Salisbury North in 2010.
Former Port and Glenelg full forward Mark Tylor will tack charhe of the Hawks next season. He was coach of Port Magpies Under 19's and reserves over the last few seasons.

Re: Salisbury North????
I played for elizabeth north in the CDFA from juniors to A grade unfortunately they folded in 1992. being an old area there just wasn't any juniors. westfields was another team to fall on hard times and fold. currently central united are just about shot, they didn't win a game last year I think? elizabeth not much better, salisbury div6 ? eastern park seem to be the power in the north other than the gawler league which is obviously super strong and some of the hills teams.burgerking wrote:back in the old days the league was CDFA was made up of
Salisbury North
Elizabeth
Salisbury
Salisbury West
Brahma Lodge
Smithfield....grrrrrrr........
Eastern Park
Central United
Elizabeth North
and probably a couple more that i cant recall atm...

Re: Salisbury North????
i think salisbury north make an enoormous amount out of pokies and are able to keep the club well funded and attract the likes of Mark Tylor who imagine would come cheaply

I heard it was $20K.
No idea how reflective that is of what saafl coaches get.
I know Tyles was not happy to be overlooked for the Maggies senior job.
Probably thought he had served his apprenticeship well and truly.
Maybe he wanted more than what Bamford is getting.
