A fantastic effort by the West Adelaide Hierachy with a complete turn around regarding the financial statements in the 2009 annual report.

After a massive loss in excess of $500,000 in 2008 they have made a remarkable recovery to record a surplus of $118,621 before depreciation.

From a long time member this is a wonderful result from a club that has had to struggle more than any other club (save South) and just goes to show all other clubs with many more supporters, that with a lot of hard work--WE WILL SURVIVE

Apparently West Adelaide Reserves captain 20 Marc Borholm has attracted the eye of the Carlton Football Cub plus at least two other SANFL clubs. It is common knowledge that Marc's best football lies ahead of him. West Adelaide FC may well lose him after his contract expires at the end of this season because he appears overlooked for League Football.
